1. What’s a typical weekday look like for you?
Now I'm retired, my day doesn't begin until 7.30 when our mini foxy wants to go outside. Then breakfast with Geoff [my husband], and the morning is spent on house keeping duties. After lunch, I catch up with my friends and family and spend some time on my research. Twice a week, I volunteer at SAG and the Sydney Heritage Fleet- good fun meeting and helping people. Then it's dinner time and TV time with Geoff.
2. What do you enjoy doing most in your free time?
My hobbies are reading, knitting, gardening and genealogical/Australian history research. I'm no longer able to go on bushwalks or take out our boat and fish. Enjoy ship travel, especially with my family.
3. What’s one reason the Gospel means so much to you?
My faith means a lot to me. God forgives me, if I repent of my sins, and He gives his love unconditionally, asking only that I accept Him as my Lord and Saviour. He supports me and gives me guidance in times of trouble and sorrow. I trust Him in all aspects of my life.
4. What do you enjoy most about the 10am service?
I really enjoy the fellowship and social interaction. Even though there's different age groups and backgrounds, there's a real sense of fellowship. The prayers and sermons really make me think.
