1. What’s a typical weekday look like for you?
My week is split between working part time as a children's nurse at Westmead hospital and being a Mum to 2 boys age 4 and 6. Usually I wake up around 6 with the kids, make breakfast and lunches then school drop off is at 9am.
If it's a work day I start my shift at 14.00 then finish at 22.30. On the days I have Ben at home we go and find new playgrounds or go to the beach, the zoo or play with friends.
3pm is school pick up time (which always comes around so quickly) then it's home to the park where we live and scooters, bikes, nerf guns and climbing trees until dinner time. After dinner, bath time and bedtime I usually relax in front of the tv with my husband.
2. What do you enjoy doing most in your free time?
I like reading, eating, walking, coffee and am trying out stand up paddle boarding. I love holidays and exploring new places.
3. What’s one reason the Gospel means so much to you?
The Gospel means so much because God Loves me. It still doesn't seem possible no matter how many times I say it. Jesus died for me that I might have a relationship with God! I am so weak and yet he uses that weakness to help others.
4. What do you enjoy most about the 10am service?
The thing I enjoy most is the company! I have some great friends at the 10am service who I enjoy laughing with or sighing with and who I get to see almost every day at the school/shops/library not just on a Sunday.
I find the sermons fascinating and it's a great chance to engage my brain and challenge how I am living my day to day life. I love seeing my kids develop an understanding of who Jesus is to them...."Mummy did God marry Godzilla?"
